This is another attempt with the rapidograph pen. It is a self-portrait and I was still working on figuring out the pens mechanics and line drawing technique.
When I came up with this pattern I was trying to learn curvilinear perspective. I was inspired by M.C.. Escher’s prints when I was making this, and was trying to understand the geometry and formulas behind it.
This was inspired by the particle accelerator images I saw when taking physics.
I tried to play more with curvilinear perspective and came up with the two geometric images. The one at the bottom is computer generated with vectors to help keep it accurate and I like the way it came out.
