This is one of the commissions I did to make some extra money on the side. I am open to do some more of these,
if asked. For this portrait I was given a photograph of the family, because none of them were facing me, I decided to add a scenic view to help the background agree with the foreground. The people facing away can feel excluding to the viewer, but by adding the scenic background it draws in and includes the viewer. The whole picture it becomes inclusive as you are joining in on the scenic view. This is Mt Redoubt and it is a dormant volcano. The image is 18 x 12
