The Kenai Fine Art Center had a call out for works that involve birds; at the same time, I had some fascination with some of the Ravens around where I work. Later I decided to illustrate a drawing of these birds for the show.

I like your Raven very much. It captures the special “essence” of this bird and reminds me of its importance to the Indigenous people of the Northwest and Alaska. I am from Anacortes, WA. Beautiful work. Ted Goslow
